I have decided to stop doing this until the 1st of January 2015 (which is today or tomorrow or even yesterday, depending where you live) because of the fact that I got books for Christmas and my TBR is currently back to where it was when I started so....
At the moment I currently have 133 physical books on my TBR in my room.....

January TBR:
For January I know I want to read the following:
HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!!
- Gates of Thread and Stone by Lori M. Lee
- Crown of Midnight by Sarah J. Maas
- Dreams of Gods and Monsters by Laini Taylor
If I get to read anything else I will decide it on the spot, possibly from the list of books I have for the reading challenges I am participating in in 2015. For more information on this and my resolution, follow the link.
HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!!
That's a pretty great book haul, loads of them look interesting. I was just wondering whether you already have a copy of A Storm Of Swords: Part Two, because if you miss that part you will be TOTALLY lost in A Feast For Crows. Unless you've seen the TV show already, in which case you'll be fine.
ReplyDeleteOn another note, I really need to read those Throne Of Glass books, everyone seems to love them. I think I might see if my library has them the next time I'm there.
Thank you!!!
DeleteNo I don't :p The book shop didn't have book 4 and the only copy they had of book 6 was damaged so I didn't want to pick that up so I'm going to wait till they have them back in stock. I haven't started A Game of Thrones yet so they have plenty of time to get them back in :p I have refused to watch the tv show until I read the books!!!
The Throne of Glass books are really good!! You should pick them up soon :)
I actually pity you that you're just starting A Game Of Thrones. You are in for so much emotional pain. It's a series that isn't for everyone (it's really dark, it's full of sex and violence. it's really long and most of the characters are terrible human beings) but if you can see past all that then you'll love it.
DeleteI have no money left at the moment so I'll try and see if my library has a copy of the Throne Of Glass books, if they don't I'll just have to wait a while.
Haha ya but that means a book is good when you feel all the emotional pains!! I'm sure I can see past all that...It sounds so good!! I may pick it up tomorrow and start 2015 with A Game of Thrones :p
DeleteThe financial troubles of a book lover, always the worst :( I'm so bad now I'm even doing book buying bans!!...
I'm not quite that bad but I'm also into vinyl, so whenever I'm in a record store I HAVE to buy something, even though records are between €20-€25. And there are so many great record stores and bookshops in Dublin so whenever I head in there I just can't restrain myself.
DeleteThat's the worst part about a city. I have to travel over 20 miles to get to the nearest town so there isn't constant temptation :p
DeleteHaha, another costly hobby :p It's great to have a collection though!!
I love animals and photography as well. I've 5 pets at home and I want to get a new lense. Any money that I have basically goes towards caring for animals, photography stuff or books :p
You know you are actually the first other Irish blogger I've met so far in the time I've been blogging...
I think there's one other guy, I can't remember his name at all. I've found that being Irish and blogging go well together seeing as the second I mention my nationality everyone automatically loves me.
DeleteI found that too. Honestly, I don't know what the appeal is...
DeleteI swear to god those Game of Thrones editions are so incredibly gorgeous I wanna be one of them. So beautiful. Kudos to the publisher because they are drop dead gorgeous. And I also spy Falling Kingdoms which is a book I wanna read so badly and now that the series is complete, it has to happen!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year ^^
Aren't they just!!! Much better than the previous ones. I too applaud the publishers!!
DeleteYa, I got it from my Secret Santa. I was so happy!!! I have so many good books to read now I don't know where to start!! :p Is the series for Falling Kingdoms finished???
Happy New Year to you too :)
Oh, you're going to start the Game of Thrones series? That's great! I have to admit, these books kind of scare me because of the amount of characters. I feel like I'll get lost reading them, and at the same time, the story's so appealing!
ReplyDeleteHAPPY NEW YEAR!!
Yup I am :) Hahaha hopefully I won't get overwhelmed :P Have you read them yet???
DeleteHappy New Year to you too!!! :D
I love this book haul! It looks like you got a lot of awesome books this month and it seems like you have quite some reading to do! I know I want to start reading The Immortal Rules myself. And currently I am reading Game of Thrones, and it looks like you got a lot of those in that series.
ReplyDeleteYa it was a great haul month and I have a load of reading to do :p I got that book off my Secret Santa!! I was so excited when I opened it :p
DeleteI have yet to start A Game of Thrones but the landscape covers were on buy 3 for the price of 2 so I couldn't just leave them there :p
